Trametes versicolor - Turkey Tail - decomposes dead wood, recycling nutrients, it supports the Immune System as an immuno-modulator. Research has shown it to also be beneficial for the gut microbiota and for adjuvant use where there is immunosupression.

Usnea spp. - Old Man's Beard - a lichen, which is a symbiotic relationship between a fungi and an algae (cyanobacteria)), growing in a Pacific NW conifer forest in Mt Rainier National Park, but can also grow on hardwood trees, and is most frequently found at lower elevations.  Supportive for the respiratory and urinary tracts, skin and wounds, with both internal and topical applications.
